Story Seeds
Story Seeds is a monthly evening hosted by me, Talia Levy, a woman of the Judaic line who believes in the power of the long line of ancestry that connects us back through time. A line that connects us directly to the days when women knew the power of their bodies, their intuition, their emotion.
Story seeds embraces the midrashic tradition of the Jewish Lineage. Each line in the Torah is but a seed, how that seed forms and fruits depends on the conditions in which it is nurtured and tended.
Story Seeds explores the stories of our ancestresses from their perspective. The reality is that it was the men who wrote down the stories. How could they have known what the women knew? How could they have represented what the women believed? We love our men and it is important for us as women to know ourselves, to access our own power and unique way of seeing and interacting with the world. Our bodies are different and the way we relate is different.

The stories
The stories come from Biblical times. They are the stories of the women. They are a seed that has sprouted and grown into a vibrant and abundant tree. They are reimagined and recreated.
My process of reimagining these stories comes from the many years I have spent working with pan-cultural women's mysteries. I turn to my dreams, my body, my intuition, I tap into the collective consciousness that holds the wisdom and memory of all times. I do not claim these stories to be historically accurate. But they hold a truth, they hold a perspective, they hold a way of seeing the world that might inspire you to think, feel and reflect on your own story and worldview
